Sutter's Gold Streak Band
"Sutters" played local bars like "Diamond Jims" and "FMs" in the late seventies and early eighties.
Members in the picture above were Lynwood Parker (kneeling), Dale Pennington (standing w/ saddlebags), Clarence "Moon" Munden, Grier "C-Boy" Crawford, Jim Papp, and George Byrd
.

Thanks for putting up this site. Nice to have the band remembered. Here is some additional info.
My name is Tommy Hartley (middle name is Neil, as in Young), guitar, piano and vocals. I joined the band after Lyn Parker left.
Other members included Bobby Sutton (bass and vocals), John Caldwell (guitar and vocals) from Atlanta GA and Bobby (Crow) Richardson from Miami FL. Crow is currently playing guitar for Dion DiMucci (Runaround Sue and The Wanderer).
Roadies included:

Frank DiVillo - Lightman (deceased several years ago)

There was also "Arget" and "Greaseball." Don't remember their real names.
I will attach several more photos. The B&W shot was taken at Night Moves in Atlantic Beach. The line-up is, left to right:
Tommy Hartley, Moon Munden, C-Boy Crawford, George Byrd, Jim Papp and Dale Pennington.
The shot of George and Greg Allman was taken at Art Stock's Playpen South in Ft. Lauderdale in 1978, I think.
There is one of Moon and Robbie House (of Snuff) and one of Crow and Peton in the john.
I will try to come up with more pictures and send them along.
